Apply for funding

Applying for funding to the Angel Investors Consortium is a simple and straightforward process.

Step 1

Just submit a PDF of your business case in the prescribed format [download template here]
to funding@angelinvestorsconsortium.com. Our team will review your request and revert to you with our thoughts within approximately 2 weeks of receiving your application. We may have additional questions and clarifications before we submit your plan to the members for understanding their interest in investing in your venture.

Step 2

AIC members may take up to 2 weeks to revert on your proposal. Often they may have additional questions or clarifications, as well as suggestions.

Step 3

Depending on the interest levels, applicants would be invited to make a presentation to the group. Usually these presentations are done online, and on Saturdays. However if there is sufficient interest among members in the city where the startup team is based, we may organize an in-person presentation as well.

Depending on their interest, we interact further.

Note

We levy a nominal charge of Rs.5,000 per application to filter out non-serious applicants. Once you submit your application, online payment instructions will be sent via e-mail.

The Rs.5000 charge is NOT an acceptance of your proposal for funding and is not a commitment for funding. Individual member’s decisions to invest or not invest in your venture will depend on their assessment of the potential and risks, among other factors. The Rs.5000 is merely the application fee.
